I'm Brian, the founder and owner of 321 Performance PT. With a background in physical therapy and sports certification, I bring a wealth of experience to my practice. Drawing on my expertise as an ultramarathon runner and knowledge in sport biomechanics, movement quality, manual therapy, and skill acquisition, I specialize in enhancing human performance in all its facets.

I'm origninally from Brevard county but mu career journey began in Dallas, Texas. During my time in Texas, I honed my skills working with high-level athletes at The Andrews Institute and Michael Johnson Performance Center. My clientele ranged from high school athletes to professionals, including those at the amateur and Olympic levels.

I'm passionate about advocating for movement and constantly exploring the boundaries of the human body. I've taken part in numerous obstacle course races and ultramarathons, including challenging events like the Spartan Trifecta, World's Toughest Mudder, Leadville 100, Wild Florida 120, and Forgotten Florida 100. Beyond my professional endeavors, I'm an avid adventurer, having conquered multiple 14ers in Colorado through hiking.

"Do or do not, there is no try."

-Yoda

I started my competitive running journey as a middle-distance runner at Brother Rice HS in Chicago. After graduating, I chose to stay local and ran for Prairie State College in Chicago Heights. In 2011, my team and I were fortunate enough to qualify for cross country nationals. Following that successful season, I transferred to Aurora University as a cross country and track & field athlete, contributing to my team's victory in the NAC conference every year I was there.

Upon graduation, I landed a role as the Head Cross Country/Track and Field Distance Coach at Beecher High School. It brings me immense pride that both teams made it to the Illinois State Championships, and I'm elated that every team member set personal records that year. I later left Beecher to pursue my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Wheeling University. After graduation, I gained experience in various physical therapy settings and currently work as a traveling physical therapist.

Since my high school days, I've never stopped running. My current personal ambitions include qualifying for the marathon Olympic trials, completing a marathon in every state, and assisting other runners in achieving their goals.
